i have a new Generac 8000 generator and I used it for the first time today because of a storm. I used the cord that came with my generac and plugged my refrigerator up to the generator and about every 8 -10 minutes it would trip the 120 outlet on the generator and I would need to reset it I tried both 120 outlets and same thing happens. This continued for about three hours untill I turned off the generator. what could be causing this?

Waaayyy too long of a video!

Most of what I got out of the generator when I changed the oil was aluminum dust, which the magnetic oil plug would not help with. I changed the oil like 4 times in the first 5 hours to flush the case out.

I ran this model powering my whole house using an inlet box and it powered the central air and actually my entire house. It did have a problem with the electric stove, other than that it was just like having regular power. You can tell when curtain thing turn on and off by the sound of the generator. It has about 10-12 full days(24 hours) on it.

Could you me an update ? Also what’s the quality like for the for the sweep system ? And rusting now ?

Install a baffle in that bad boy and you’ll really have something!

I know that the video is 3 years old by now, and you've most likely already remedied the problem. But I can see that you locked out your suspension with the struts from the rack. A quick idea I had, while watchin, was puttin on plungers in place of the struts. Like the ones for a car hood or trunk. They would add support while still bein flexible. Allowing your suspension to work and maybe improving the suspension as well.

I wanted a Fisher and couldnt find one for a sane price. I settled for a Earth stove. I was completely blown away at how well it heats. I can load it before work, set the bimetallic damper on it to maintain 70 degrees, come back 12 hours later and my uninsulated blockhouse is still 70. Ive had may stoves in my quest to heat this tomb, catalytic, EPA, other smaller stoves and apart from a coal stove, this is the first stove that will do this. I think the EPA is just trying to cull the herd by freezing us to death 😂

Man get you a Milwaukee M12 or M18 battery powered grease gun with a LockNLube tip accessory. Its a little pricey but once you invest in it its worth every penny. It takes a job that sucks and turns it into something that I really don't dread any longer. I have 3 different guns designed in the nature of the one that you are using and the last time I saw them they were at the bottom of my tool box pretending not to drip.

Your major concern is the cap, take it off in the winter while you are burning wood. Birds will only be a problem in the summer.

The old Woodsman Stove with the oak leaves on the doors were far superior to Fisher.

We have found a Nickerson grandad stove that looks exactly like this one just without the ornamentals on the doors. I cant find ANY information on it though. does anyone know anything about them? The seller did mention it has been in a fire which has me concerned. Thanks

I bought the Little Buddy on Dec. 21 and went to use it for the first time yesterday for an upcoming fishing trip. Guess what? The darn thing doesn't work. The return policy of the store is 30 days and it's now been 33 days. I can hold the button for several minutes but the moment I let go the pilot goes out. I am not at all happy with Mr. Heater right now! Do they not test these in the factory?

I have a MamaBear heater and love it but would love to have a glass in my piece that you put in the door ways so I could see the fire but not lose the heat Is there any thing like this I could purchase for my heater.

I have seen people start a chimney fire on purpose. This guy had a limestone chimney on a old farm house. He just laughed when I told him he had a chimney fire. Like you I would not recommend

Dude that is bad. You need to do a hot burn once a week. Do that and it wont need cleaning.

Use a dual fuel generator, preferably propane rather than gas. Although it produces slightly less power than gas. Its cleaner and doesn't cause any problems with the carburetor where you have to add additives. I have to use gas only in my snowblower. I don't use any additives but rather let the snowblower sputter out of gas after each use. I never leave any gas even with an additive in that unit to avoid any problems. Ethanol, even with an additive with eventually gum up the carburetor. My neighbor thought that his snowblower would work a year later even though he put a fuel stabilizer in the tank. We had to clean out his carburetor which was gummed up. We got it running. I told him to just add a less amount of fuel and run that unit out, even after he finishes clearing snow from his property to avoid problems.

hmmm? I'm thinking...tie another rope to the opposite end of the brush and have a 2nd person pull it back up, then you down, then person up...get her clean. :)
